What hood cleaning costs in Houston

Real numbers, published, because you shouldn't have to make four phone calls to find out what a normal job costs. If a vendor won't tell you a range before they see your kitchen, that's a choice they made, not a rule of the trade.

The base price and what it covers

One number covers the whole system. The roof is not an add-on.

Single-hood kitchen

$425

Up to 12 linear feet · one exhaust fan · normal roof access
Typical range $425–$550 · 3 to 4 hours on site

  • Hood interior, to bare metal
  • Baffle filters removed, washed in a contained tray, reinstalled
  • Plenum behind the filters
  • Horizontal duct, through every access panel that exists
  • Vertical riser
  • Exhaust fan — housing and blades, fan hinged open
  • Roof curb and the surface under the fan
  • Containment, cleanup, dated tag, signed certificate, 16 photographs

Flashlight Guarantee: pull any filter, open any panel we listed. Not bare metal? We're back within 72 hours, free.

What moves the number

Worked examples

Three real Houston kitchen shapes, with the maths shown.

12 ft charbroil taquería

$491

One hood, one fan, ground-level roof access.
$425 base + 15% charbroil load.

3–4 hours.

Two-hood burger house, 20 ft

$859

Two hoods, two fans, 20 linear feet, charbroil.
$425 + $175 hood + $95 fan + 8 ft over + 15%.

4–5 hours.

Three-hood Tex-Mex, two-story Montrose

$1,015

Three hoods, two fans, no interior roof hatch.
$425 + 2×$175 + $95 + $75 access.

5–6 hours.

That number is what we text you, and it is what the invoice says.

If we find something on site that changes it — a collapsed duct, a welded seam with no access panel, a fan that has to come off the curb — we stop, photograph it, and text you before we touch anything. We do not re-quote a job after starting it.

What comes with it

  • Price locked 24 months.
  • Every visit for the next 12 months on the calendar the day you sign — plus a text 10 days out and again the morning of.
  • All your paperwork at one link that never changes. At insurance renewal you send one URL, not a folder of scans.
  • Same person every visit.
  • One free filter swap between visits.
  • Free re-clean within 72 hours if you're written up on anything we cleaned.

The real benefit isn't the 12%. It's that your manager can quit, your calendar can die, and your hood still gets cleaned on time — because we're the ones remembering.

The terms, in the same size as the discount

12-month term. Cancel any time with 30 days' notice. No early-termination fee and no auto-renew. Billed per visit, not by monthly draft.
